Mănăstirea Sucevița (Sucevița Monastery) is one of several Painted Monasteries found in Bucovina area of Northern Romania.
The great monastic complex has the appearance of a fortress & was founded in 1581 by Gheorghe Movila, Bishop of Radauti.
