“Grand Entrance”

My base camp during my stay in Aspen Colorado in the Fall of 2011 was in Snowmass Village. Just a mile from the lodge,off of Owl Creek Road, I found an upscale residential area rising above Snowmass Village. As I was in search for a high vantage point to shoot the Golden Hour light of the valley below, I came across this drive to an un-occupied private home. The leaves had only just fallen a day or two prior & made for a beautiful scene with the road covered in golden leaves. This is the same drive as the ‘Golden Road’ image,but from another vantage point.
